Tonight is my final meeting at Fox Hollow. You've probably heard that my FILs have caused problems with everything for the last 11 months. The final meeting will be about food (very important to them, at this point I could care less). My father can't stand the site of them after all the sh*t they pulled and if they cause a scene tonight, he will say something (he's kept his cool thus far.)
FILs are paying half. So they think its their wedding. FMIL thinks she's the bride...really. She looked at a wedding gown for herself but fortunately didn't have enough time to order it.
My FH has to work and cannot be there. He can't be there at any time when a meeting is possible.
I'm really, really nervous. Please help me calm down. I don't know how!!!!

If you and your dad made it this far keeping your cool, you can still do it. Just ignore them. However, if there is something you and your dad want make sure you get it. Even if you have to demand it. Remind everyone whos wedding it is.

Have your FH step up and say something before anything happens. Just relax, ignore them, and have a good time; you're getting married!!!!!!

Are your FILS paying for the wedding, why not just leave them out of the tasting all together?? You shouldn't have to be stressing about this, it should be exciting time for you!!

I hope all goes well.....keep your cool if you can..but if you can't....then tell them that you appreciate the $$ but you didn't want it to turn into their second wedding...i feel for you!!!
What nerve of her trying to buy a wedding gown!!! That would have made me lose it right there!

I think you should sit quietly, have a glass of wine, and breath deeply for a little while. Tell yourself that everything is going to be okay. And it will. Remember, outbursts don't get anybody anywhere. After this is over, you will have as little to do with them as you possibly can.....I hope all goes well.

Relax. Sorry for crashing but I just wanted to help calm you. If future inlaws say anything that you are not happy about---say something. This is your special day, it's going to be amazing whether you have the chateau briand, or the filet mignon. Don't let anyone upset you. Just tell them that this is what YOU want.
