PLEASSSSEEEEE read!!! anyone interested in a great night out with a cause for very little $?

My neighbor just stopped by to tell me that her and her husband are sponsering a fund raiser for her nephew who needs a liver transplant and has a donor, but his insurance will run out right after the transplant, and if anything goes wrong, well, he won't have the funds to pay. He is 34 years old and his brother in law is the one donating. He has 2 kids- 9yrs and I think 4yrs.

It sounds like a lot of fun, it's a casino cruise out of Freeport and is only $25 a person. It is on Sept. 27th .

You get $20.00 in gambling tokens, 2 drink vouchers, a hot buffet, unlimited coffee, tea, and soda, and if you wish, a bus will pick you up at and drop you off at either College Plaza in Selden or TJ Maxx in Kings Park. The bus will pick you up at 5:30 and the cruise is from 7:30pm - 1:00 am.

Kelly- I set up fundraiser for my job and thought some suggestions might help
Has she contactd local radio stations- many will post on community calendars as well as mention on air( and local newspapers-might be too late for that)
You would be amazed at how many people participate in things like this
Assuming they have already rallied the local town organizations/clubs/churches/schools..
Hope this helps and hope they have a great event since it is for such a great reason
