I need some help, my mom is a large woman and needs to find a dress, she has already been to Queen of Hearts in Merrick which she found a possible and Big Shots but I wanted to try some other places, I heard of a place called Rinada's but cant find it, any other suggestions?

Try the Lynbrook Bridal Shop in Lynbrook. They carry plus size dresses. I am taking my FSIL (who is very verybig) there to find a dress for my wedding.

Estelles has a really nice plus size section. I think they go up to size 22 or 24...not exactly sure.

My mom and my aunt bought their dresses for both my wedding and my brothers from Lord & Taylors (but the one in the city). They seem to have a good plus size selection.

I'll second Cippy Loo's L&T suggestion, my mother got her dress there. They didn't have her size at the Manhasset Location but they called around and found it in another store for us. I ended up picking it up in the city and they did have a much larger selection there.

My mom got her dress at P&M Boutique in Oceanside. They were wonderful, and I saw a woman trying on many elegant gowns in a plus size. They have a good selection, and helped my mom find a beautiful dress.

tara--renates (pronounced ranadas) is located in lindenhurst on montauk hwy (you spelled it wrong!)-check the phonebook---decent selection, nice people there-check them out!

David's Bridal has plus sizes, and also RK Bridals have some catalogues that include large sizes.

If she doesn't mind ordering from a catalog, ROMANS's carries really nice classy dresses for the 'larger' size woman. My FMIL is getting her dress from there and they are actually really nice. She is a big on the larger side. Good luck!

Go to Blanches in East Rockaway, they have a great selection.
My mom is a chubsy wubsy and she found a stunning dress

Thats funny she actually ordered a dress from Romans but it isnt gonna be here till monday they say and I really liked this dress she tried at Queen of hearts but they will only hold it till friday, she called renate's it was in bellmore unless there are 2 and may go checkin in out this week, thanks so much for your suggestions ladies, I I knew I could count on you

In yesterdays Bellmore life there was a bridal section and they spotlighted Queen of Hearts. You might want to get a copy , or try to find bellmorelife on line.

Thanks Tara, I think my mom saw an ad for them in a local paper yesterday too, and it said they have very big sizes and could even order it if needed in a larger size.
