Pls confirm...
Can you get a marriage license at any town hall in NY and get married where ever you want?
We are hoping to get our marriage license granted at the Staten Island Office this Friday and get married on the 26th May in City Hall in Manhattan...
Can someone reassure this out of towner...

As far as I know you should be fine. It's a STATE marriage license. plus, if you picked it up in Staten Island, but are getting married in Manhattan, you should be fine since you're still within the City of new York.

Thaks Donegal...I called the Staten Island office and they have confirmed it's ok for the marriage license to be granted in Staten and be married in Manhattan City Hall...thanks for your post
