PLS HELP!!

PLS HELP!!

FH and I are in contract for a house that is .4 miles from the ocean which is nice but, now I am having trouble finding an insurance company to cover us! Any advice would be helpful. . .

My ex-boyfriend used to work for Chubb and I remember him saying that they were one of the few companies that still insured waterfront properties, give them a shot.

I tried this and the company they use will not issue a new policy on this area; they only insure existing policies on homes this close to the water!!

Chubb will not insure it either! I am ready to

I am so sorry. I wish I still talked to him. I knew you were probably going to hear that about new policies but I was hoping chubb was still doing it. Have you called an insurance broker? They might know a company. What about the insurance company that you have your car insurance through?

Ok thank you so much for your help!! For anyone else in this situation state farm and an insurance broker can help!! I have a great one (insurance broker) who will help out. I almost had a panic attack def. something to think about when considering buying a house close to the water!!!
