Pls help- need 'rehearsal lunch' restaurant ideas!
Hey girls-
Pls help out an OOT bride! Ive been planning my LI wedding from PA and my FILs are in ALASKA! So everyones clueless about places for our rehearsal lunch. Can someone suggest places to look into that are laid back/pretty casual, not ridiculously pricey, and near the port jeff, stonybrook, setauket area. I think thats what they'd be most comfortable with.
TIA!!!

There's a place called Mario's that isn't too expensive. Some other places I would recommend are the Port Jeff Country Club (they have a restaurant in there), The Country House and the Three Village Inn. I don't know how much they run though. Also, the Garden Grille in Smithtown is really nice.

Sonoma grill is delicious...their private room holds about 50 and the food is great.
Garden grill in Smithtown is a little 'nicer' than Sonoma in the sense that you would have to be a little dressier (sonoma would be fine with jeans and a nice shirt...garden grill is more 'khakis, black pants, skirt, etc...)
Three village in is great in stony brook...they have a bunch of specials depending on the day of the week.... give them a call.
John Harvards in Smithtown/lake grove area has a private room also....very casual...more of a fun/brewery atmosphere....
