i'm contemplating buying my BM dresses at netbride....but i first wanted to know if you would recommend some great places for alterations in queens/LI and the prices....just trying to save the most $$ for my BMs.............

I'm in Forest Hills.
My mom just found a local place that does alterations. they were pretty reasonable for my niece's Jr. Bridesmaid dress that was taken in. They only charged $40. I have yet to ask her about the end result.
I'm not sure how much Phyllis charges for alterations. Her address is 1870 E Jericho Turnpike Dix Hills 631 462 0323.

I just went to this place called Party Girl in Great Neck and she did a great job. I had the dress shortened, taken in, and added straps. Her name is Patty and she wasn't expensive.
