Hi Ladies, I just ordered my dress from Lillettes and was looking at their BM dresses...the problem is they only have samples up to a size 12 (they literally had 2 dresses that were larger)...I have 2 BM that are plus size. Anyone know where I can shop for them? I tried calling a few other stores that carry the designers I like and they said their samples are also in small sizes (size 10-12). Help!!!

try commack bridal center they have a section for plus size bridesmaid trust me whereever you go you will not have sample sizes bigger then a 10

I would just choose the dress and then have them order it in there size.
Honestly, you will have a hard time finding plus size bridesmaid gown. They may be able to try them on even if it not their exact size.

the problem is i am letting each girl pick their own dress...so its going to be what they feel comfortable in. My MOH attempted to squeeze into the size 12 and couldnt get it over her butt when she stepped into it and she couldnt get it past her chest when she put it on over her head. i assumed she could get in to it and just leave it open on the back but no such luck

David's Bridal carries samples up to size 24.

I'm sorry, just a little confused. The store can't order the dress in the proper size? I'm going to have one BM that is a large size and now i'm getting worried....

They should be able to order a sample in the size needed if they want to try it before ordering it

a lot of places that i went to they wouldnt order sample sizes bigger yes they can order the dress in any size unless the manufacturer doesnt make it in large sizes

Most BM dresses go up to a size 24 with the option of ordering additional material. They should have an idea of what type they feel the most comfortable in (halter, strapless, straps etc). Then they unfortunately would have to wait until it arrives!

here is what the store told me...yes the designers do make the plus size gowns however the store would need to order (and pay for) the sample to be in the plus size....therefore the store I went to had the free sample the designers send which was either a 10 or 12. I will give Davids Bridal a shot, but liked some of the bill levkoff dresses they had I def would not want to have my bm spend money on a dress she cant try on bc even though they would order it in her size she may not be comfortable with the fit.

None of the bridal stores I went to had bm dress samples in sizes larger than 10

i would suggest David's Bridal. most of the other bridal stores son't carry large selections of BM dresses.

I had the same problem. David's Bridal was really the only one I found with plus size samples.
