plus size bridal and bridesmaid dresses

I know this has been asked before, so I'm sorry!

I know I have plenty of time but my matron of honor is coming in from Florida and I don't know if she will be able to come up for wedding gown shopping and bridesmaid dress shopping so I figured we could take one day while she is here to going shopping!

we are both plus size so I was wondering besides David's bridal where else can we both try on dresses?

For Bridal dresses:
Helen's of Commack
David's Bridal
Paradise Bridal
Fantasia Bridal

I have been to all of those and tried on dresses (I was a size 20 at my wedding).

For plus size bridesmaid dresses i'm not sure if you will have much luck in bridal salons, you should call ahead.

I know for sure David's Bridal does have them.

My cousin was a plus size bride and said she had the best experience at Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point. The said they had alot of dresses for her to try on, she ended up buying from there and she said it was reasonably priced (under 1k).. I plan on going there in a couple months to look for myself since her and her older sister both had great experiences! Good luck!!

Warning. Not a fan of Estelles Bridal dept and I didnt see the greatest selection in gowns there for plus sizes. I had a fantastic experience at Davids in Westbury though!!
