I started calling around (actually so far I've called one place lol) to price the BM dress I like for my girls and was told theres a $40 plus size charge for size 22 and up... is it just me or is that insane!!!!!!
or am I overreacting and this is normal? Not to sound like a dummy but I really don't know.
Im definitely going to keep calling around but figured I would see if this is normal or not.
I've seen an additional charge for plus size dresses online. It's normal, but I'd find it pretty offensive it they actually called it a 'plus size charge.'

sadly it's normal. Also, make sure your plus size BM gets the right size bc if she needs to add fabric, the alterations are RIDIC. Trust me.

I don't know what they actually call it - i hope they don't actually call it that. Im def gonna pay the charge and try to keep it hush hush.

Its def normal and I've seen it at different salons for different brands --- however i've seen it for anything over size 16.

I used to work in a clothing store back in the day & the plus size clothes were always more money.

Thanks girls! I was so shocked $40 seems like a huge charge... but if its normal what can I do.. I'll keep calling around for the best price!

ive seen an additional charges but not that prices maybe like 10 dollars the most
