Plus size gown reviews
Helen's Commack- I had a great consultant; sweet and patient. She got me in a handful of gowns. I didn't feel any pressure but only hoped they had more for me to try on.
Rk Bridal- Nice consultant but I did feel a little pressured and a little rushed. They did have a large selection.
Lestan in Brooklyn- I called all over to find a few Maggie Sottero gowns in my size (14,16) and was willing to take the 45 min ride (right off the belt parkway) to Brooklyn from Suffolk (for me it was better then going into the city again). I was a little nervous pulling up to the store because there were some bad reviews but had a great experience. The consultant told me most of their gowns are 12 or higher. She was patient and allowed me to try on the same dress multiple times (tying me up each time without being annoyed). They had tons of Maggie Sottero's for me to try on in 14, 16, 18. I also didn't feel any pressure.
I hope this helps future plus sized brides because it has been a little tough for me to find gowns to try on in my size.
