Plus Size Hair Do's

two of my brides maids are plus size what is a god hair style for them? I think i'd like half of their up and half down! Any ideas?

Please do not take this personally and I am plus size....But I do not think it matters what size you are and how you do your hair. I have had compliments with my hair up...and my hair down. I say for anyone do your hair the way it frames your face best...skinny or plus size

I totally agree. Plus size hair do's- I was expecting to hair pics from the 80's!!! Now that's plus size hair

I was thinking the same thing!! I have never heard of 'plus size' hair styles....
I think flattering hair styles depend more on the shape of your face, hair texture/length, etc...not your size

plus size hair do's. i am a hairstylist and a plus size woman. any style goes well as long as the person who wearing it feels comfortable in it and loves themselves it doesn't matter how big skinny tall or short they are. everyone is who they are. i wouldn't stress over plus size bridemaid. there in your wedding because you want them to be and there someone specail to you. there are more important things to stress over then a hairstyle.

I've actually read somewhere that hair can make you appear larger..if you hair is puffed out and big..and depending on your facial structure..it was in a bridal magazine!

I don't think that hair doo has anything to do with the body.....its more about what looks best with their individual faces.

I completely agree....I am plus sized myself and I get compliments no matter how I wear my hair....But I must say, when I wear it half up/half down FH loves it.....

This made me laugh as I tried to picture skinny girl hair versus big girl hair...

Just my opinion, but i'd let your bm's decide how to wear their hair as they been doing it for you know, bout 20+ years, and would probably know what style would best suit their tastes and their hair.

i agree with most of the other girls---- 'plus size' or not doesn't really matter with the hair.

however--the shape of someone's face might make a difference. for example for me personally--when my hair is short--it makes my face look bigger and bloated. but i don't think its cause i'm plus sized--its cause of the shape of my face.

just ask them what style they feel comfortable in. my sister is a plus sized girl and she let me knows that she did not want a full up do cause she didn't want her back very exposed....so we did half up and down, and that made her feel much more comfortable.
