Hi, My moms friend needs a dress for her daughters wedding and has been having a really tough time finding anything. Some stores have been very rude to her, and she is the nicest woman you will ever meet. Maybe a size 20-22 dress size. And some stores she has gone to, do not even have a size dress for her to try on. She has been doing nothing but cry. She has lost alot of weight but its a slow process especially having had breast cancer double mastectomy, and a knee replacement surgery. Please if anyone can give me a list of stores for her to go, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

I am so sorry to hear that. Some ppl can be so rude. My SIL is a size 22. She found her dress at David's Bridal. They carry A LOT of different sizes in the store. She didn't even have to order it, she just bought the in the store.

It su cks being plus sized. First hand experience here. Have her try Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, I can't remember the name of the mom's store (After Eight ? maybe). We bout all of our dresses there and found everyone to be helpful. Off the rack, I would suggest Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom.
It is such a shame that salespeople can be so rude. They have no clue that this is the best way to lose a sale. I have no qualms about walking out if someone has been rude to me, nor letting them know the reason why I am leaving.
