I get to pick my own BM dress for a friend's wedding and I am looking at the POB site right now... is 'SMOKE' considered black??? Sometimes when I click on the Smoke it looks black and other times the Pinot Noir looks black... HELP!!!
smoke in 'real life' looks more like charcoal on some dresses
the colors on the website are totally messed up. my BM dresses are POB navy and sometimes the 'navy' is very purple or gray. you should just call and ask what dresses are available in black. if she told you black i would just go with their actual black. but yeah the website colors are screwy!

smoke is a dark dark grey. and depending on whether its chiffon or satin, it looks a little different (satin looks a little lighter, shimmery)
would you be able to post the colors? I think smoke is a dark grey. I think you should stick with black...

She didn't even tell me a brand/designer she just said BLACK!!!! I hate not having more details/directions!!!!!! But I think her MOHs bought their dresses from David's... but if I'm going to buy a black cocktail dress I want it to be something really nice that I'll wear a thousand more times!!!
