Pocket Fold Invitations

Pocket Fold Invitations

I just received my invitations today (yay!) and I'm not sure whether or not I need to affix a sticker to keep them closed or do I just leave them.

If I do get a sticker for them do you ladies have any recommendations?

They are a basic pocket fold in black, nothing fancy.

TIA!

You can put a sticker if you want...Michael's or any craft store will have them

What about using stickers with your monogram if your having one?

I am just leaving mine. I don't want a sticker to ruin the cardstock. It'll stay closed enough inside the envelope.

I never thought about the sticker ruining the card stock. Thanks ladies!

I made 1 1/2 inch belly bands to go around ours, and put a seal on that. Then it held the pocket closed, but didn't affect the cardstock of the actual pocket.

What's a belly band? Do you have any examples? I'm totally clueless!

A belly band is a band that wraps around the invite.. sort of like a bank band that gets wrapped around money, but prettier lol

I am not sure if I am doing a monogrammed tab or bellyband yet for my pocketfolds. If you put the invite into an envelope, that will help keep the pocket closed.

I dont have any pics right now, would when I get home tonight.

Its a band that goes around the middle of the pocket fold, depending on how you are closing it.

The gallery here has some pictures of invites with the belly band. It can be ribbon, or card stock, either tied or held with a monogram or logo.
