I want to put a ribbon and a rhinestone embellishment over the pocket fold, should I glue the ends of the ribbon together tighty (that way the dont slide off) if so, what kind of glue did you use? I used the hot glue gun but its too messy, sorry if I confused you all lol TIA!
there is also this glue strip at paper presentation in the city, it's like this little hand gun, you slide it from one side onto material and it glues nicely to paper.

I used glue dots but i had the seam covered with a monogram

I acutally used hemming tape from target to hold my ribbon together. it's meant to hold fabric together tightly, so that stuff stuck like nothing else. A little goes a long way!
