Pocket Fold Invites - Did you have inner envelopes?

I think I will be designing my own stuff because of my ultra pickiness with paper and ink.

Anyway, what I wanted to know is that I have read that people with pocket fold invites do not use a inner envelope. If so where you put the second persons name - on the outside?
Ex. Mr. Ed Blub and Guest.

OR are you putting a insert into it stated who exactly is invited - or pre-printing it on the response card.

I put it on the outside envelope since there is no inner envelope.

I had the same dilemma and questions and wound up doing an inner envelope because of it.

were not using inner envelopes...since were having a pretty small wedding and only a few people are invited with a guest (bridal party, people that dont really know anyone else) - so were just telling those people they are free to bring a guest.
