Ok guys...help me out here!! I am crazed with do it yourself ideas. For those of you who have created your own do it yourself pocketfold invites, a few questions. #1: how much did it cost you approximately per invite? This is my idea. Im having a black and white wedding. I would do either black pocketfold with white invite with black double hearts on top of it. Then i would put a white satin ribbon to tie it together with some sort of a decoration on it. any ideas or suggestions???

All together it's costing me $8 per invite, BUT that is because I'm paying $400 for thermography printing. So if i didnt do the thermography, it would be $4 per invite which is WAYYY less than paying someone to do them. At least the quotes i got anyway. Get started at cardsandpockets.com

As long as you're printing yourself, buying the pocketfold will cost you anywhere from $1.20 - $2 for a 6 x 6 (our metallic pockets were $2). Then you can print on regular cardstock, which is $12 for 250 sheets. We used 2 sheets for each invite. I think ribbon cost us $60, but we had inch-wide silver and gold metallic - yours would be substantially less (for that size we used 50 yards). Our RSVP's were postcards. So, on the cheap, including postage (24 cents for postcard, 75 cents for invite), you could do yours for $3.09 each.
