Ladies, I don't normally come out and ask about prices for things... but I've been pricing out pocketfolds and I feel like they are soooo expensive! Just wondering what you paid for pocketfolds, and how much they cost you for how many invitations!! I need to order invites soon, but every pocketfold invite I've priced out seems so $$$$!!! we ended up not getting pocketfolds, because the ones we liked weren't formal enough, but they would have cost about $550 for 125 invites, and they were from Carlton Craft.

i partially made them. i bought the pocketfold itself and made everything else. for 200 invitiations it came to $600.

i know the feeling... i wanted to go the route of making them but pressed for time i ended up ordering invites instead.. not pocketfold ones but different from the traditional card ones IMO at least... (check out my album)
i know some people ordered plain cards and then the pockets seperate and made them... maybe you can do that??

I am DIY'ing them because I refuse to pay $1000-$2000 to have them made. I found one vendor who is highly recommended that would make them for cheaper, but when I received her sample, it was flimsy.
So I am ordering the pocketfolds from CardsandPockets, the paper from Paper-Papers.com and making them myself.
The pocketfolds are $1.10 each, and the paper I'm getting is $20 for 50 sheets. I haven't figured out the final cost yet, but it will definitely be cheaper than ordering them.

I bought the pocket from www.invitesbyyou.com for $1.60 each and made the invite & inserts myself.

I got the pocketfolds from www.cardsandpockets.com and did the rest myself. I forget how mucht he pocetfolds were, but that was the cheapest place I found.

Did envelopments with three inserts. Put together myself $7 each including the pizza and beer I bought for my friends to help put them together

I am having them made by Diana from Pippy's Sweets.. I am paying a little over 400 for 100 invites!!!!

I ordered 85 of them and it cost me around $170...I happened to hit a sale on remoteassistance.com. Total for my invites, including paper, envelopes, and pocketfolds were about $300. Everything looks extremely professional like it was ordered from a catalog. Pictures to come.

The pocket fold sager continues. I know the feeling I went through this. I ended up ordering the invite and putting the in pocketfold and save that way but still was alot.

I went the cardsandpockets.com route as well! I love my invites and have recieved a lot of comliments on them and they haven't even been mailed out yet. I wish I could talk myself into ordering the invite, but I love the way everything matches! And I got to add little personal touches.

we're trying to figure out if we want to do pocketfolds too and i'm thinking i might just dump the idea. neither one of us is interested in doing it ourselves (FH because he just doesn't have time and me because i don't want to do it alone and our printer is terribly unreliable). i managed to work out a price for like $570 on mygatsby.com for the 'pocket folio' (slightly different than your standard pocketfold - it looks more like a folder). it's not the worst, but i can get the same thing from mygatsby, only without the pocketfold for $430 or so and that's enough of a savings that I might say 'screw the pocketfold!'
