pocketfolds!

pocketfolds!

Can I ask all of those that DIY or ordered how much you actually spent. I tried to do the DIY route and I was pulling my hair out. I got quoted $280 for all the stuff but I had to print them all and assemble. Then I got quoted $400 to have it all done for me. Im figuring after labor and ink and all- am I saving $$ doing the DIY route?
Any suggestions? HELP!!!

Re: pocketfolds!

i paid about $230 for all my stuff for 100 invitations (with extra cardstock) (including lined inner envelopes). I got the cardstock from LCI paper and the pocketfolds from cardsandpockets.

and I purchased pocketfolds, not that im making the pocketfold itself.

I have a lazer printer, so i dont think it will take that long to print them up. I was seeing $1K + to have them printed and assembled.

where is LCI paper? is their cardstock cheaper than cards-n-pockets?

Re: pocketfolds!

i purchased the sample kit from cards and pockets.

now i have all the sizes and stuff for the paper. so the cardstock for the inside stuff I am just going to purchase from micheals and cut myself.

But I am going to order the pocket fold from the site.

I played around with the sample, and with the kind of invite I want, I was quoted $300+

so either way I think I will end up saving a decent amount.

I ordered the cardstock from neenah paper to make the pocket fold and the invite for the inside from lci paper. The invites i'm getting from lci paper were a 400 dollar difference just between the invitation itself and a printer i quoted it from.
