So i finally finished my DIY invites (what a PITA!)...this is the finished look...i wanted to be sure to list who was invited on them so there is no confusion and this is what i came up with...
ETA: i am a graphic artist and even for me this was a freakin project!!! so godbless all you DIYers..haha

OMG they look AWESOME! I wish I coulda done pocketfolds!! Did you get them from cardsandpockets.com? Would you mind telling us how much per invite you say it ended up costing you? TIA!

I didn't do them myself to save $ necessarily...i did it because I wanted to do a custom design...but here is a breakdown of cost..
1.) $1.60/each - pocketfolds (cornflower blue-metallic) from cardsandpockets.com 2.) $0.40/each- rsvp envelopes including printing return address 3.) $0.40/each- metallic silver mailing envelopes from actionenvelope.com 4.) $0.04/per sheet of white card stock bought at Staples ------------------------ about $2.52 per invite give or take a few cents...that is just materials...then add in all the time setting up art, printing, cutting and assembling
