Poconos

Has anyone been to the Pocono Resort- for Honeymoon or getaway???-

We stayed at Cove Haven, it was a birthday surprise, it was fun. I loved the Nearlywed game or whatever they called it. It was hysterical. It can get a little racy there at times. There was sexual pictionary, and one person had to draw a pocket ***** and only guy knew what it was and guess what his name was for the rest of the weekend.

It was fun!

Mount Haven Resort is nice and has Great food! Also, its in Milford, slightly away from the real 'poconos scene'.

Cove Haven is wonderful, I've been there twice already, both times excellent and romantic

We go to Paradise Stream every year for a little getaway ( thats were he proposed) we like it there, and from what we heard from others that was the nicest one of the resorts.

we've been to cove haven. it's awesome!!! we had the room with the private pool and the sauna - we had a great, great time!

THe first time we stayed in Juliette room which is like a studio, and we loved it. Then next time we stayed in Garden of Eden Apple. Talk about ROMANTIC

Wanda, I am definitely down for going all together. We could stay in different rooms yet do activities and meals together, that would be excellent
Next time I see you, I'll take the coupon

I would like to go when it's warm for a weekend after my wedding of course. A good month for us would be August

liz - i love those rooms!!! we went in february and we had a blast with the winter activities - they had snow-mobiling and hot cocoa in the ski shack. it was such a blast! i would go back in a second!!

I've never stayed at the Pocono Resort but FH and I have gotten 2 Poconos vacations thru skyauction for $150 total last year and $260 total this year. This was for a FULL week. Last year we stayed at Shawnee resort and this year we stayed at Villas at Fairways. They're twonhouses and have a fireplace, living room, a full kitchen. This year the villa even had a jacuzzi.

I love the Poconos! I went to college and met the man of my dreams in the Poconos! Heard of and visited many of the places mentioned by everyone. We are seriuosly thinking about moving back to PA !
