PO'd!

PO'd!

My rsvp date is THIS SATURDAY...and we have 85 outstanding responses. Are people serious?

After my weekend started out fantastic (bachelorette party on Friday WOO HOO) and ended really badly (shower had to be cancelled b/c of snow and the place where the shower was to be is giving my Mom a really hard time about rescheduling, a-holes!) I really can not think about having to call all these people next week to find out if they're coming or not.

I'm having my first meltdown!

Don't make the calls yourself. Enlist the help of your bridal party.

Wait until next weekend before you start calling. Some people think that because the RSVP date is Feb. 18th, that means they should mail them out on that date!!

Most of them will probably come between now and then, and the nos always come at the end, or so the consensus on the board has been.

This is exactly why I have my RSVP date way more than a month before we have the final head count due!!!

I am right there with you...my RSVP date is Friday & we still have 30 outstanding!!! My family & friends are all accounted for..FH has to start the phone calls on Saturday!!!

I mean c'mon, how hard is it to check 'yes or no' & write the amt of guests...The stamp is already on the darn envelope!!!

My tables are due two weeks before the wedding...no RSVP, no seat!!!

Just freakin' decide to come or NOT to come and put the thing in your mailbox!

Awww don't worry. Things will get better! As for the RSVP's I know I will definitely be calling ALOT of people too. RSVP's started out great - 5-7 Per day now im down to about 1-4 per day.. Its fustrating!

We had the same problem. Like someone else suggested, don't make the calls yourself. I had my father call the people on his guestlist and I had my FIL call the people on his.

I feel the same way...I mean, we can make it any easier...a card, an envelope...hell, we even provide the STAMP!

don't get yourself worked up over it now Jill- wait until D-Day to hunt people down....

sorry about your shower...I hope the people at the place see the light...jerks. Glad you had a fun bachelorette party!

I'm a big bundle of emotions right now...so everything is setting me off. I need to breathe! We'll see what happens with the shower. If they don't accommodate my Mom, who is not being unreasonable by the way, I will see to it they lose a lot of business.

Don't stress too much. Hopefully most, if not all, will come in this week.

I must say, I am amused right now by people who have advised that they are coming, and still have not sent the response back. Including FILs.
