PO'd at post office

PO'd at post office

We sent out invites about a month ago and we just got a return to sender YESTERDAY! Why was it floating around for a whole month.
We called the invitee immediately to tell him what happened. Luckily, he's a guy, so he's like 'whatever' and won't care that the new outer envelope won't have our fancy calligraphy. But, it makes me nervous that there can be other lost invites still out there!

This happened with several invites - some people moved and the forwarding address was incorrect so by the time it got back to me it was 3 weeks after it being sent.

We called those people got the correct address and sent it back out.

The same thing happened to us. 'Luckily' my aunt called my mom to tell her she didn't get her invitaiton. We personally dropped it off to her, I just got the Return to Sender invite back the other day!!!

This happened to us as well, we received some back right away but, others didn't come back for like a month.

I put the old envelope into a new envelope and resent them out to the people again. I only handwrote the new envelope but, I let them see the original effort I had made

I tried to do this, too, but it won't fit! Oh well, at least he'll see the inner envelope calligraphy.

sooo many have not recieved them and i sent them out the first week in august.

this happened to me to, except it was to my step brother and sister in law that i've only met once, I felt so stupied, so I sent it in a new envelope, but i didn't open the old one, I just shuved it inside a new one so they would see I did send it over a month ago.. its so annoying though!!! where the hell was it for over a month?
