So DH has been too nervous to let me drive the new car, we actually had a fight last night because I wanted to take it to see my mom, anyway....I get a call just now, he side swiped a car and he has to buy touchup paint because the fender has scrapes!!!
SEE THAT DH's MAKE MISTAKES TOO!!!!
He is so worried that I would F it up

That's justice but that sux too!! Thank god he's the one that 'christened' the car.
WHen our DH parked our then new on the street by our apt, someone drove too close and scraped it with their side view mirror and left a mark. It was noticed when I had the car and it was all 'where did you park it? you shouldn't park it there.' etc. meanwhile it was swiped after he parked the car. To me it make no difference, but he was making such a stink.

I had the same thing happen to me...reverse roles...I always complained to DH about not paying attention when driving...then last year I was busy 'yelling at him for being late for Father's Day and I didn't see a red light...
Everyone was OK...b/c we were only going 20mph...but I learned my lesson to keep my mouth shut
