POL on BP gifts: Would/did you give a gift out of 'wedding norm'

Would/Did you give a gift 'out of the norm' like maybe a camera, stereo, tickets to ball game, etc.

Or did/are you sticking to the 'norm' - keychain, BM jewlery, jewlery box, other engraved items, flasts, knife, etc.

still cant decide... I think with the girls it will be more the norm and the guys it wont be.

My BMs are not the norm (soooo not girly-girls), so I am definitely looking for something different!

Yes, I know I at least want to get my girls something that they will love and appreciate. If it is out of the 'norm', so be it!!!

It's so much more thoughtful, personal and useful!

Who wouldn't rather have theater tickets over a jewelry box? (JMO)

ETA: I did very practical, and as their gifts I am paying for dress, hair and make-up. Boring? Yes, but much more useful to them.

My MOH gift is completely out of the norm but I can't say what it is b/c she reads the boards! But it is related to something she really loves. I personalized each gift to the girl.
