Polaroid Guestbook?

Polaroid Guestbook?

I really wanted to do this as I have a Spectra, but nowhere sells the film locally anymore. I only found a few places online where it comes out to over $3 a picture

My sister suggested I just put pics of me and my fiance in an album and have the guests write around my pics. I suppose i could add table pics of guests to the book later...

If anyone knows of a place to get Polaroid Spectra film that is less than $3 a pic, let me know.

Did you try Wal-mart? Also, I've seen it at CVS in the past. Good luck.

Looks like you can buy it on amazon.

just a thought:-
I don't want to scare you, but didn't someone say that taking Polaroids might not be great b/c the pictures fade quicker than regular pictures?

I have I think 6 boxes of polaroid film and cameras left over from my wedding. Let me know if you want to buy them off me-they are doing nothing besides taking up space not sure if its Spectra thro-ill check later

What the PP said is true-they do fade, we did it and are glad we did b/c we have pictures of alot of our guests that we normally wouldnt have pictures of

Definitely let me know if it's Spectra. I've checked so many places, and ebay is so expensive because this film is getting quite rare!

I know polaroids can fade over time, but I have such a soft spot for them as I have some cute ones from childhood and this way I can know what some of my guests actually look like. We're inviting quite a few people I've never met

thanks!

i wanted o o the same thing.........CVS had one on sale for $30 but the film is way too much $$ i would need like 12 packs of 10 and its like $30 a pack for the film!! so i am putting disposable camera on the table with a guest book, people can take a pic of them selves and ill put them in later lol cant wait to see how that works out ill probably have abunch of half head pics lol

Re: Polaroid Guestbook?

You prolly can't find it bc Polaroid said they're going to stop making their films this year. So whatever you do find, is going to be expensive.
