Re: pole dancing bachelorette party?

i have some feedback...a friend of mine recently went to a party where someone brought the pole.

her comments was that they should of brought TWO poles....mainly because the lady was teaching a move...and then everyone basically had to line up to try it. it kind of slowed the party down and made it a bit boring.....

if there were two poles, the intstructor could have been on one, and the girls on the other...and then both poles would be available.

just throwing that comment out there for what its worth....

We went to DivaFit Studio in Massapequa for my friend's bp. It was a lot of fun! There were about 8 poles and probably 10-12 of us so we made two groups and there was definitely no boredom!

I went to the S- Factor in the city...... I had so much fun. You can go for a class or if you have enough people you can have a private party there.

Re: pole dancing bachelorette party?

I've been lurking on these boards and am so addicted and this is the post that totally encouraged me to register so I can finally post something.

I have actually been to a few different pole dancing classes and parties in long island and in nyc. The teacher and studio I like best is Two Worlds Dance studio with Cathy Wagner. The studio has one huge wall of mirror and Cathy really sets up parties well. I went to a pole party there in Feb and she had a table set up with champagne, snacks, and desserts and the room was dimmed and lit up with colored floor spot lighting or whatever you call it. Although there are only 9 poles so you may need to share 2 girls per pole depending on the size of your party. I do love that the room is dimmed a bit because it feels less stark because in the beginning alot of newbies (myself included) can feel a bit shy. Check her out and see if it's what you're looking for. I had a great time at one of her pole parties! I found her by googling pole dancing in long island/Catwalk. Let me know if you have any questions!

That's cool! I've been in a class with Lauren at Variations too! She was one of Cathy's students from catwalk and she helps Cathy out now! Lauren is so sweet.
