I'm planning my sisters bachelorette party (Mar 19). I was thinking about going Pole dancing and then out for dinner and drinking. Anyone have any suggestions? For the most part, everyone is in Rockaway(about 10 of us), so places in the city, Queens, or Nassau would work best for us. THANKS!
Also if anyone has any other suggestions-please post them too.
(Side note-She's coming in from NC and her shower is the next day at 3pm, so we're going to do something local)

Re: Pole Dancing suggestions
How close to the wedding is the bachelorette party? I know that we had planned to do a pole dancing class for my sister, but we found out people tend to get bumped and bruised during those classes so we did a lapdancing class instead. We found them on the internet. It was a couple years ago so I do not know how much it would cost but from what I remember it wasn't too expensive and it was a blast!!!

My girlfriends and I got a good deal at NY Pole and S Factor, both in Manhattan. If you'd like, I'll let you know how they go.

Re: Pole Dancing suggestions
I've been to one at S Factor and it was great. I went in NYC. I know they used to have a location in Roslyn but I don't see it listed on their site. Maybe call and find out.
My friend and I took the beginner pole dancing class at EDC Dance Studio, Inc. | 12 East 32 Street | 2nd Flr. | New York | NY | 10016
It was alot of fun and I think they do private group classes for parties but its $$$$.
You DO get bumped and bruised though.
