Polinis and Marios...

FH and I looked at these places yesterday for our rehearsal dinner. Has anyone eaten at these places? Any feedback for us?

Re: Polinis and Marios...

I had my rehearsal at Mario's in Setauket...the food is excellent there and very well priced. There were 3 different packages you could choose from and we did the $22 a plate one (I think) which had a ton of food. We were in the back room but there wound up being other people there, they didn't bother us though and they gave us enough room to walk around.

Re: Polinis and Marios...

Sorry I just got back on and saw this! I did get quoted $19.95 a person. It includes a sit down dinner with a salad, pasta, meal (choice of 3 for the person to pick) choice of 3 desserts and it includes soda, coffee and tea. They separate the alcohol because everyone handles it differently. I think I might just have carafes and pitchers of beer on the table. I think this is a pretty good deal 1 because it is a sitdown and 2 because I love their food!
