I would love to say we were going to save it and not use it but I can't. It seems like whenever we get back on our feet something else happens car accident, car broke down

since we plan on buying a co-op or condo, we're borrowing the $ for most of the wedding expenses. Therefore we'll have to pay it back using our wedding presents.

We simply can't afford to do both.

I grew up in levittown. I love it there and its nice money but really not that much. It is very affordable.

Just a reminder don't expect a lot cause you might be really disapointed I was.

We go to open houses all the time we are saving so after the wedding we will start looking I grew up there also.

We have a condo and are using the money we get from that for the DP on a house..

The money we got from our wedding will go towards home improvements

We are looking to move off the island after the wedding,,,,so all money goes straight towards a place to live.....we are busting our butts saving EVERY penny now

Since FH is paying for some of the wedding, I want to put that back into his accounts... the rest we will save, but I'm not sure what it will go into.

Our plan, as we like to call it is to 'take the money and run!'

We are moving 6 weeks after the wedding to NC, and the wedding money will fund our move down and pay for all of our furniture, first and last months rent on an apt while we look for a house to buy.

not sure, though the plan is to save most of it for a house, but I might be quitting my day job to persue my real passion (my other job - freelance graphic artist and web designer) and we might use the money as a 'safety net' while I make the transition from jobs.

We saved it all, except for about $1,000 that we used to buy new bedroom furniture as a gift to ourselves.

We have a house already so didn't need $ for that. We also had a budget for the wedding so we saved all the $ we needed for the wedding and didnt have to go in to debt at all, which was great.

We're saving it now, I want to invest it.
