How many days are you or did you take off the days surrounding your wedding??
I may be starting a new job soon. I wanted to know what was an acceptable amount of time to take off.

Thankfully I'm a teacher so I'll have 3 weeks off before our wedding....
I'd say a day or 2 should be fine, however....things tend to get hectic that last week.

if we have snow days and go until the very end of the school year, I am taking the last two days of school off...I live in CT and I know I am going to be stressed out and will want to be on LI doing last minute things... IF we dont have snow days (yeah right) then I have no problem...

Our wedding is on a saturday, my last day of work will be wednesday the 18. We get back from our hm sunday nov 5 and I am going back wednesday Nov 8. HTH!

I took two days before the wedding. The week after the wedding is Presidents Week so I will have 5 work days off by default. I will then take another 5 days from work for a total of 7 days I NEED to take off even though my honeymoon is 11 days. YAY!
