Do you have a list of people, local neighbors, friends, parents friends that you arent inviting to the reception but you want to invite to the church?
Are you sending out seperate invitations?

I will be honest with you and please do not be offended. I feel it could come across rude if you physically send someone an invite to the church only. I think if I recieved one I would feel bad that I wasn't good enough to be invited to the wedding. Maybe there is another way to spread the word that the ceremony is opened to anyone who would like to attend...
I know my mom wants have some of her friends from work come to the church so I think she may post the time and location for them....good luck...

i agree... you can spread through word of mouth where and when your church ceremony will be, but mailing a separate invite to only the church i think would be a bit wierd...

I am inviting people just to the church...BUT by word of mouth...if they want to come see me get married. People like the lady across the street and her 2 little girls or my Mom might tell people she works with but no formal invite

I know a lot of people will show at the church that are not invited to the wedding but that is all going to be by word of mouth! My mom is a school teacher & many of the teachers know me...I am not invited them to the wedding but I know some will attend the church

I was just wondering....bc i have a lot of friends from HS, and College and parents friends who im not THAT close with ...and arent being invited....but i know they would LOVe to go to the church & know the date...
Word of mouth is good....i was just wonderin...

i went to the church yesterday for my sisters friends wedding, my sis was a bm. i wasn't invited, i just went. i wasn't going to crash the recpetion, just wanted to see the bride and groom. anyone can go to the church, no invites are necessary.

I agree. If people REALLY want to come to the church they will!!! We had SO many people come to our ceremony that were not invited the the reception...
alot of them were my friends parents or the parents of people in the bridal party, but trust me these people will hear about where and when and if they want to be there they will!
