We moved in 6 months after our engagement-

I'm glad we did I couldn't handle the wedding stress and getting used to living with him all at once

I totally agree my FI and I moved in together two months after getting engaged. It took me a really long time to get used to living together and I missed my family so much and it was such a different way of life.

FH and I still live at our respective homes. I am dying to get out of there though - 24 years of living with my parents is more htan i can handle!

He moved back after his divorce to get better set financially. I moved back to finish my Bachelors and we met while I was in school. We planned on getting an apt, but got engaged 6mos after I graduated so we stayed where we are to buy a house (with no help) and pay for the wedding (95% paid by us). I cant wait to have our own place in a few months.

Re: Poll- Anyone still live at home?

I live with FH (for the last 3 years). Haven't lived at home since I was 17. Love my parents but I feel like a kid when I am home. I needed to be on my own. My parent's probably would have only let me stay there for a month or two maximum unless it was a financial issue. They want to have their space and want me to do my own thing (and I think that's best).
Too bad they moved into a 5/6 bedroom home while I was in college! Maes no sense to me!
