I'm not sure, but I kinda want to hire a planner... What do you guys think?

I am thinking of doing the DOC too...I know i will be under enough stress that day, so i want to alleviate as much as possible!

having FMIL as a former wedding planner, and me with my obsessive compulsive/borderline bridezilla tendencies (they havent happened yet, BUT THEY WILL!), I dont want to put anyone else in harms way... :)

p.s. my bridezilla moment was about the cake, and how i refuse to get anything fondant, but one of the RHs i looked like refused to not let me not do fondant, so i basically told him to screw himself. :)

Fondant is yucky... you tell him.

The famous wedding planner mindy weiss is publishing a book at the company i work for. She was in the office the other day, and we sat down for a meeting...(she kept talking about the Eva Longoria - Tony Parker wedding)....
during the meeting my boss announced that i was engaged and needed her book LOL
After the meeting mindy came over and said congrats and how beautiful my ring was. I told her i wished I could afford a wedding planner like her.... and she said I could ask her for advice if i wanted to hahaha
I felt like saying...sorry, i dont need that...i can go on LIW

Nopers...think its pointless!

Well i need to have a wedding first, but still, i dont see the point unless you have literally 800 ppl coming to your wedding. even then you could still put some man hours into it alone!

The Scotto brothers offers a wedding planner service so Im having a consulation and i guess they will help me out. So I guess yes I will have a wedding planner

I am planning on meeting w/ her too...at least for the invitations...they have so many to choose from and they said they give them some sort of discount.

I figured that I might as well take advantage of the service since the cost is probably built into the price per plate

A person I know wants to use one and they told her it was 5,000 for her services I was like and what services are those wiping your butt until your wedding day........i just dont think its worth it spend it somewhere else! JMO

I am my own wedding planner.... i will have my family and friends help me out, but other than that, no wedding planner for me!

I'm not having one, i'd be wayyy to controlling over everything so there isn't really a point to having one lol. And also the point that i'd be broke!!

I didn't have a WP...but I did have a DOC and it was the best money I have EVER spent. The week before she coordinated everything with my vendors and took care of every detail. You spend so much money for your wedding...why have to deal with any issues that day. The week leading up to my wedding everyone was commenting on how calm I was..and I swear it was because of my DOC. She was amazing. JMO.

I didnt technically 'Hire' a wedding planner, but my MOH is basically doing my party. Shes done alot and I love the way she does them... I like to be different and she comes up witht he best way for that...
Without her I think Id probably be lost :(

then again i have you guys!!
