i gave a few things because i got really good deals. I didn't wanna spend a lot on jewelry because what i wanted, i doubted that they'd be able to wear again. I went on www.partytimejewelry.com and got really pretty costume jewelry...decently priced & really pretty! So they got earrings & a bracelet from there....then i got them each a little clutch to go with their dress & a little compact mirror with their names engraved MOH also got a personalized sweatsuit to match me in the morning

I would spend 40-50% on jewerly and the rest on something else that reflects each of their personalities... ex: fashionista- coach wristlet workaholic- bath + body works stuff party animal- wine glasses (or margarita glasses) w/ favorite alchol (wine, margarita mix, etc.)
For jewelry, I am getting my BP, a wish pearl kit. It comes with an oyster (with a pearl inside) and a necklace to put the pearl in. I am going to write a special note to each of my BMs explaining that our friendship is something very unique and rare...just like the pearl inside. All of the girls will be able to open up their oyster and find a beautiful pearl inside. I got this for a few people as a bday gift and they LOVED it. It was less than 20 dollars. Real silver necklace. FM me if you want info about which site is cheapest.
I am buying my girls jewelry as part of their gift b/c I want them to all wear the same. I also bought them one other item. I may even get them one more small gift. I plan to spend about 100.00 per bridesmaid.

i was thinkin gift certificates too- like doing a monogrammed makeup bag and then a sephora git card- since all my girls LOVE makeup....i just wanted to do something different.
and then i might also throw in these cute little sets of cosmos- they're called cocktails by jenn and it comes with like 4 bottles- each a different fun flavored cosmo- cause they all LOVE to drink too-

I don't think its a 'gift' when a bride gives jewelry to her BM's because she wants them to wear it at 'her wedding' or gives them a gift certificate to get their hair or makeup done for 'her wedding.'
A gift should be to give them something that has nothing to do with your wedding to thank them for all they have contributed to your wedding. This isn't pointed at anyone and I think that if your giving jewelry that you think that girl will enjoy wearing often after your wedding then it is a lovely gift . But if its pink rhinestones that match your pink bridesmaids gowns and you give all of the girls the same piece then its a bit obvious that this 'gift' is more about you than them.
That being said, I have NO idea what I am giving the girls. I am thinking some sort of gift certificates so that they can get what they want for themselves. The guys were so easy.

Giving my girls necklaces from Tiffany's. They'll be wearing them on the day of and can use them FOREVER! Also may add something special/personalized for each one - plan to spend only another 25 on the small little thing

My sister did both. She got us all necklaces from Swarvorski. She also gave us Ivory cashmere wraps from Nordstrom (December wedding). And she gave her MOH (ME) and extra present which was a black leather wallett from Salvatore Ferragamo. I tend to think she went a little overboard, but it was very nice. I have no idea what I will be doing, definitely have to get my sister who is my MOH something really nice.

I decided against jewelry since I know what it is like to get jewelry I would never wear again, I told my BM and they were happy they could wear their own jewelry and even thanked me! I am giving them coach wristlets and key chains and my 2 MOH will get coach wallets

I am giving jewelry, I met a jewelry designer at Bendels and by going through her directly I can get the necklaces for $100 per person and they are unique. They can wear whatever they want the day of the wedding. I also plan on puchasing cashmere wraps. My wedding is in May and I want a lot done outside so I think I should by them something for their shoulders in case its a little chilly.

I have friends who gave gift certificates to sephora and victoria secret to the BM's and we loved it!

perfume a coach wristlet personalized photo album or scrap book diamond stud earrings Canvas tote filled with goodies personalized for the person (eg: garden lover, get all garden stuff; party girl gets something for entertaining guests; etc...)
