POLL: Bridesmaid Luncheon

I'm thinking that instead I'm going to take the girls the day before the wedding to a spa day or something. Mandy (JuneBride2Be I think?) mentioned a place that hosted a little spa session in a private area with champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries and stuff and that way I can take them for mani/pedis also!

What is everyone planning on doing or are bm luncheons dated?

a bridesmaids luncheon is def NOT dated!!! It is a very elegant and intimate girls day and its a chance to show them how much you appreciate them....these girls are going to spend a whole bunch of time, effort, and money to help your big day be the best it can be so I think the luncheon is a wonderful idea to just be out with the girls and do something nice for them

I might do a spa day, or I might just have all the ladies over my house for either a girl's night or some sort of a luncheon. I haven't really decided yet.

My mother actually hosted a Bridesmaid luncheon...she held it in the bachyard and she made lunch and drinks...It was a very nice informal way for the girls to get to know one another better

We hosted a 'rehearsal' dinner. We didn't get married in a church so we didnt need a rehearsal dinner but we had a bbq for the entire bridal party & gave them thank you gifts there.

hmmmmm....i've been thinking of having all of us get our nails done the day before....maybe i'll extend it and take them to lunch too? there are a few places we could go to by the nail salon....hmmmmmm??? lol
