poll: calla lillies vs roses for bridesmaids

I love both the Callas are so elegant and I am also using them for cp but they seem to be smaller as bouquets....however I would also add some stephanotis to the bouquet...my sis (moh) also loves callas.

Roses are always beautiful and seem to make a bigger bouquet.

I had a mini calla bouquet - Scvartzvelder calls which are a striking dark purple and stood out a lot against my lace ivory dress. My girls, in black, carried black magic roses without greenery and the colors in the photos were striking. I questioned the no greenery filler decision at the time but was SO glad when I saw my proofs. I did not vote because this is so a matter of preference.

Although I love all flowers I am partial to roses - there's nothing prettier!

Why not do both? I'm doing ivory roses and burgandy mini-callas for the bm bouquets. It is the best of both worlds!

I'm partial to roses but if you can do both then go for it!

I think it would have to also depend on your budget, if you can do all callas, there is nothing more striking.

FYI we had calllas for myvriends wedding in October. They looked like crap halfway through the night. However could have been her florist who had a few issues. You should askyour florist about putting them in hydration packs. or ask what they think about their hold up

You could always do a mixture of both. They look great together.

My BMs had red roses and mango callas with hypericum berries. They were gorgeous.

I love the clean simple look of calla lilies, but if you have trouble picking, definitely use both. I've seen some nice mixed bouquets.

I used both- burgundy callas and black magic roses for my bo-k, and white callas and vandella roses for the BM, my MOH had a mix.

I love roses, but why not do both? I don't know whose pic this is, but this is a beautiful bouquet with both callas and roses.
