My mom's surprised that I didn't order corsages for our godmom's - but I had never heard of that before! Apparently she's gotten one from each of her godkid's though...sooooo, could you please let me know if you're getting them? She told me that we'd go with what 'the ladies on LIW think' (she knows that I 'live here' ). Thanks!
ETA: I honestly don't 'mind' getting them & said I would, but my mom saw my total surprise when she asked (I thought that I had messed up) and told me not to do it unless it's the 'norm.' She doesn't want to add to my stress - she's too cute.

we got them... i am very close to my godmother and FH's godmother is his mom's sister... and his mom is dead, so they are very close. also, we only had one grandparent alive out of the 7, so it was extra special for us for them to have one.
also, our godparents brought up the gifts at Mass so it was nice to have them have corsages.

We are doing corasages for our Godmothers. But they are part of our ceremony. They are doing the candle lighting instead of our mothers. I felt they should have corsages

Hmmm...we're not having anyone doing readings, etc. but I'm pretty close to my godmom and my FH is close to his & his mom passed away a few years ago so I think that it would be a nice idea. Thanks for the input ladies - I'm going to go order them

my mom said she doesnt even want a corsage so no, getting one for my out-of-the-country-kooky-but-nice godmother never even entered into my realm of possibilities

I ordered my Godmothers each one. We asked them to be our readers. We thought that was a nice way to incorporate them into the ceremony being me and my FH are close to them.

My godmother is in the wedding...and I dont even know who FH godmother is! I dont even think he knows But it is a nice idea! I would do it! I am close to my godmother...and I am also a good god mother so hopefully in years when they get married they will do it for me!

FH is not close w/ his godmother at all and my godmother passed away a few years ago but I was very close with her and if she was still around I would def get a corsage for her! They are special people!

no flowers for parents and grandparents. waste of money because my family hates to wear anything like that due to allergies (the older the people get the more allergic they get) and my parents think its wasteful they rather have my money spent elsewhere.

I am close to my Godmother but FH's passed away. We only did parents and Grandparents and FH's nasty sister and husband lol to shut up FMIL bc theya re not in the bridal party. IN ANY EVENT... I didn't get my Godmother one bc I am close to my other Aunt who is the type to feel left out.
