Poll: Cost of 5 piece Place Setting (With Pics of my favorite)

Guys I am trying to get an idea of how much a place setting should be? I really like these.

While looking for china we tried to register for something that was reasonably priced in comparison to what's out there.

Ours is 69 per setting and I don't feel that I compromised quality or my taste.

Re: Poll: Cost of 5 piece Place Setting

My place setting is 99.95 at Fortunoffs but insead of teh usualy 5 pieces, Fortunoffs is running a promotiong (I think until February) so that with each place setting you get teh soup bowl for free.

My parents bought us all 12 place setting and got a 20% off coupon so it saved alot!
My accessories are $$$$ so I am really not expecting to get too many but FH and I can get them as we have the money and feel we will use them.

I have lenox, opal innocence!

I'd say register for what you like, but I'm guessing the china you posted is easily $450+ a place setting (if it is even available in settings), so don't be surpised if you don't receive the whole set at your shower.

Our place setting is $79.95 at Fortunoff. You can find beautiful china there for under $100.

As for my opinion on the china patterns you posted, do the patterns compliment your home/lifestyle?

A china pattern is very personal. Everyone has different tastes. That said, the pattern is too busy for my taste.

I really did not want any color in my china. I just wanted gold accents. I figured that I wouldn't want to be tied down to one color. However, these have so many colors, that I would always have options. I think I really like these. We are going to buy a home after the wedding, so I can design the dining room accordingly. I don't know. I haven't even shown my mother yet.
