Poll-Days off for wedding

Poll-Days off for wedding

Originally, I was all set to take off three days before the wedding and then two weeks after the wedding~and I had enough days to do so. But then, my office closed for two snow days (thanks mother nature), so I had to use two of my personal days. So…….my question is: should I just take the days I originally wanted to and just not get paid for two days, or come back to work two days earlier? WWYD?

What about just taking off 1 day before the wedding???

My boss actually offered that I could take off more days before the wedding but knowing myself I will go crazy at home for all those days with very little to do.

Its my opinion that when you get back from your honeymoon there are going to be so many things that you have to do. Unpack, Laundry, get settled at home again, grocery shopping, sort the mail, etc. So I think the extra days after are more important. Also if you marriage license is returned by then you can use one of those days to change your name (if you are).

Take the extra days off- you are going to need a few days to get settled

I really need to take off from the Wednesday before-during the day we have to bring all the stuff to the RH, the rehearsal is at night and I know Thurs and Fri, we'll be busy.
And you're soooo right, after the HM, there's gonna be a ton to do.
