Just curious, didn't think i would cry when I was proposed to, but it really took me by surprised and got me all teary-eyed!

I completely thought I was going to because I would cry when others got proposed to (on t.v. or the movies) but maybe since I knew it was coming I didn't.

I was sooooooooooooooooo suprised because I thought I was getting it for my b-day...well that past and nothing so then I figured our anniversary/christmas (which is when we got engaged) but my mom convinced me it wouldnt be for a looong while. When he finally did ask I started crying from shock and I even asked him if it was a joke

I didn't cry right away, I did later on that night. I just could not stop shaking for about two days, even after 6 1/2 years of dating and knowing it was coming soon, he still totally caught me off guard!

i cant explain my reaction. . .i was hyperventilating and freaking out bc i had NO IDEA . . . but it was an ugly cry minus the tears - i was making crying noises and faces but no tears. . . it was VERY ATTRACTIVE might i add LOL

I knew when he had purchased the ring and brought it home and I was having a bad morning one day and he comes out of the bedroom and he said I know I shouldn't do this now but I can't wait. 'will you marry me?' It was supposed to be a christmas gift. I wasn't all tears but very giddy and a little teary eyed!!!

I kinda knew it was coming but oh did I cry! FH knew I had a hint so he tricked me (we were on the beach in Marco Island FL) taking a walk and he said he forgot something at the place we were sitting and talking for a while and we turned around and thats when he proposed! He said some very romantic things and he got down on 1 knee and proposed right at the end of the island on the beach! I was balling, tears couldnt stop coming and I was literally speechless for about 10 min .. THEN we had to take a 2 mile walk back to the condos (in the heat!) where my family was all waiting for us and cried some more! Best feeling in the world!
I cried like a baby! I knew it was going to happen soon so I prepared myself with a little speech, which I totally forgot since I was so overwhelmed. Oh well...so much for being proactive! LOL!

I always thought I would cry but actually I laughed! He looked so cute the way he did it and I was so happy that I just couldn't stop smiling and laughing. It's funny though because his friends at work were asking him if I cried and he said, 'No, she laughed!'
Me too!!! haha He got down on one knee and I started laughing like a little school girl! I think it was my nervous giggle coming out, we still joke about it to this day. People are like 'awwww did you cry' & I'm like ' well, no, I laughed the entire time' lol

nopE!! no crying for me!! i kno he wanted me to but it just didnt happen..i was in total shock so i couldnt really get it out lol.......i teared up a lil on the way home when i talked to mom...but i was too excited to really cry!! =)

No. FH proposed out of the blue while I was at work, (my manager pulled the fire alarm to make it more 'believable'), I was too shocked and hyperventalating to cry!
