Poll- Did Your MOH Choose Her Dress

I let my maid of honor choose her own dress and am wondering if other people do this.

My sis was my MOH ...my BMs dresses were blue so I told her to get a blue dress...If yout iffy about it just ask her to send u a pic before she purchases it.

Yes she did. When i went shopping with my girls, they all voted on a dress. All the bm's liked one dress and MOH liked a different one. So i told her to just pick the one she likes bc she doesnt have to have the same dress as the rest of the girls.

im actually planning on letting all my girls pick their own dresses, they will all probably end up being different.

my moh and most involved BM picked the dress, i picked the color but liked the dress a lot too

I'm picking out like 5 dresses and letting all of my BMs and MOH choose the dress they like best out of the same color scheme.

That's what i did! I told them all to go to David's Bridal and get any long apple dress they wanted. They all picked out different dresses that looked best on them, and everyone was happy. it looked great in pictures too. I think having the same length, color and fabric kept it unified.

we went together.... but she wore the same thing as the BM's..

well i picked out like 5 or 6 dresses and let the BM decide luckilt they all agreeed on the same one. But my sister my MOH didnt want to wear red, bc she is kinda on the heavy side and just had a baby and felt uncomfy so we got her dress in black , with a red sash and my bm dresses where red with a black sash

We picked out the girls dresses, then i let my MOH pick out her dress, as long as it was from the same designer so that way the color would match.

Yes i wanted her to be comfortable in her dress. I also let me BM's pick out their dress.

i wanted my girls to be comfortable and to feel beautiful that night. So I had my MOH go with me to pick out the dresses (they're all wearing the same, just with a different color sash). Luckily they all love it, but it was basically me & MOH who chose it.

My sister and I kind of picked the dress together. We made her different by giving her a mermaid skirt and the BM's an aline skirt.

Yes, I let the MOH choose -- I just gave her a color swatch that we picked up at a fabric store and told her to try to match the color as best as possible. She has it narrowed down to 3 great choices and all come in the correct color, so it worked out great!

My sister and I have very different taste in clothes. I decided it was a safer bet for me to pick the dress. It wound up being the same as the rest of my bridesmaids' but with a white sash. I would be afraid to see what she'd pick!
