I used to pre-teaching days...It was a good way to hide from people...but I hated that there were no windows which made me depressed.

Don't miss sitting by a phone...I would love to have computer access all day then I would be able to be on LIW more...actually that might be dangerous

I share a very large cubicle, I used to have my own cubicle but the company is growing and we are running out of room.

I'm a medical receptionist and I do some insurance and billing too- I have a shared desk in a big shared open office - there's no more than 4 of us in there at the same time.

In the day I have a desk in a large office filled with 8 other desk and 8 other workers and a fair number of windows. At night I have a classroom with a desk, and a wall full of windows (since I teach at night, I can never enjoy my view ) but it's ok

I used to have my own very teeny office with one window that was pretty much as big as the wall...I loved that little room

Now I'm in a big open plan - that's right, not even cubes!!!!! - with 200 other staff members! It's like something out of the movie 9 to 5

ETA: I actually share my DESK! But that's only for two more days, then it's mine full-time, all the time! And I cannot WAIT to clean my keyboard with a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol!!!!!

I used to have my own office - a nice big one with windows.

Then I took a new job that they PROMISED me would not be a downgrade but after a WEEK on my new job they NEEDED to move me to share an office with someone because now I don't have direct reports.

So much for no downgrade.

But at least I share with a cool person, one of my best friends at the company.

I have my own office with huge windows but I can't keep the blinds open since my windows are literally on the sidewalk of Fulton Avenue in Hempstead. People are so ballsy, they walk right up and put their face on the glass to look in, knock on the window and even sit on my ledge and hang out! Right now there is snow plowed up against them.

I have a large cube with pretty high walls... I just took a pic with my camera phone... hope you can see it. (it's pretty messy ) but I have alot of stuff going on right now!

I actually should take a pic of my boss' office.. talk about a view!

My company just moved into a completely renovated building and I got a new larger cube and a new computer, so I can't complain. No windows, but my boss's office is right behind me and she has windows that look out onto the Long Island Expressway.
