after you buy them and before you wear them. My DH and I were shopping yesterday and my husband brought up the question of 'do you wash your underwear after you buy them and before you wear them.' Be honest, girls. He is curious. :) He told me to ask you girls, he finally realizes that LIWEDDINGS is the SOURCE for valueable information! :

I dunno what happened... but I know a topic or two has been deleted before.. and so all posts were toast. I know girls whose number decreased when topics were deleted.

Just a thought..

Oh and I buy Vicky's exclusively. I usually go to the drawers in the back and pull out what I want. So, no I don't as a rule wash before wear. Although if it's nearing laundry day anyway, I toss them in the hamper. Which is werid itself, since I normally wash my undies after use. I wash them before I shower.... I *AM* obessive tho! Because then I toss them in the hamper!!!!! I just gross out thinking of my laundry lady/guy sniffing my undies... ICK!

I always wash before I wear my undies - a lot of stores actually dont let you try them on before you purchase them - but still -

I even wash sheets and towels too thgouh - just to get rid of that icky packaging smell!

yes i do.

sheets are prepackaged, no one has 'tried them on' but i find them VERY uncomfortable to sleep on unless i wash them first. i also wash towels before i use them.

I wash my sheets because some stores have machines where they can repacked there sheets along with other *items*

LADIES!!!! I worked at Victoria's Secret for almost 5 years...ALWAYS wash your underwear before you wear it!!! Trust me on this one - there are some nasty nasties out there who have no sense. You wouldn't even want to hear the stories I have from those fitting rooms!!!
Please promise me you'll wash before you wear!!!

If you don't I'll have to tell you some of my disgusting stories!!!!!

If my Jockey's come all neatly packaged in their original box, I don't wash before wearing.

If I buy underwear from a lot, like a Victoria's Secret, of course I wash before wearing. The amount of hands and other body parts to touch them really grosses me out!!

its a MUST,
first of all, if its not packaged lord knows who touched it, and if its packaged, still dont trust the packaging, and dont they have clothing testers before it goes out

My advice.... wash before wearing! Even if nobody 'tried them on', how many people's hands have been on them? Let's not forget all the 'handling' during packing and shipping. JMO...however I do work for Victoria's Secret (executive offices in Manhattan) and I wash before I wear!
