I was actually just telling a friend this! I am soo lucky my parents really like my FI but even more so my mom says he is her dream for me because he loves me and that is so obvious and he would do anything for me and thats all she needs! Plus he loves her cooking and that always helps! By the way, I love the new poll feature!!!!

i got extremely lucky in that sense!! my parents adore FI and his parents adore me. makes life much, much easier!!!

I got lucky in that respect too. My parents love FI and his family loves me. Like Karen32 said, it makes things a lot easier.

My parents LOVE FH and his parents LOVE me and we all LOVE each other. Even our parents LOVE each other. Our mothers sometimes have coffee or go shopping together. We lucked out (God Bless us, before we get 'overlooked' )

My dad thinks FH is perfect for me!!! My mom would have definitely loved him, but unfortunately she passed away before meeting him.

KathleenG, I'm sure if your Dad thinks he's perfect, your mom would, too. I'm sure she knows you've found the love of your life and is so happy for you and proud of you.
My parents really like my FH, but are sad b/c we'll probably move to London after wedding

It took my parents a year to get used to FH. We are an interracial couple, but I am happy to say that today THEY LOVE HIM!
