What's the dumbest/most insensitive thing someone said to you regarding your wedding/engagement?

someone told me that getting married on a Friday is bad luck...that if you get married on any day other than a Saturday, it will end in divorce....if he knew how expensive Saturday weddings are maybe he'd change his mind

I mean ummmm ok.... we are getting married in Patchogue and Giorgio's is in Baiting Hollow----30 minute drive. Acts like we are getting married in Patchogue and then RH is in BUFFALO!!!!!!!!!!!

someone yday just told me... 'ur ring is soooooo small.. like that stone, you know' my mouth dropped... i had no idea what to say... mean while she doesn't even have any real diamonds everything she wears is fake, or a ring (her married, mind u) ... and the only reason why i dont have a one carat ring is because he chose pure clarity over carats, plus he did what he could with whatever money he had... so that really almost made me cry ... like who the f*ck are you to say that to me... mean while ppl stop me because it sparkles so damn much!

My ring is small... But I picked it out.... Im not one for big diamonds... Its whats in the heart that counts!!!
My ring cost 150... I have no problem stating it, and I am damn proud of it too!!!
Dont be upset!!!! People like that are just jealous of you!

1 of our ushers says that to me alot... He is one of FHs best friends... He is going through a lonely time right now I guess... So he will say it and then say 'but you and Don will be together forever, you guys are crazy!'

My moms ring is small but its passed down literally four generations... No one knows WHY you have the ring you have you know? That made me upset for u!!

I agree.... Im not one for diamonds either... fh got me a ginormous ring at one point, and i told him that I didnt want it... and would rather my orange juice container... its what his family told him to get me... Id rather a little dot that has meaning you know?
