we met thru Yahoo personals , both only signed up for the bare minimum at the time (which was one month, I believe)

I have to say, though, that some of the other services are a little better (a few of my Jewish girlfriends have had a lot of luck with J-Date , and some other friends with Match.com).. Anthony was the ONLY person I even considered meeting off of Yahoo (everyone else seemed a little 'off') ..

even though my FH was the guy who initially emailed me , a diehard Yankee fan, only to say 'I am a huge Mets fan, the Yanks suck, and Derek Jeter looks like a muppet.'

He had me at 'I'm a Mets fan........' Must be true love, eh?

Love@AOL and to boot we grew up in the same town and graduated from the same H.S. but were living in towns other than are our hometown! What are the odds?

eHarmony.com, but I am the only one I know who used that site who had any luck with it. But we really are VERY compatible- I was skeptical of that test but it obviously worked!

We met on AOL but not in a chat room or on any of the personal sites. We started chating online in instant messages after I found him online when I searched member profiles using some keywords.
