Just wondering how many people cried during the vows. I'm totally unsure if I'll cry or not. I cried when I ordered my dress and my veil. But I think the day may be so surreal that I won't cry. So if you feel like answering besides the poll:

Obviously I'm not married yet but I pray I don't cry and then I won't be able to speak right I could see myself tearing up more during our first dance than the vows.

Well, I cried like a complete baby at the RD, it was very emotional thanking everyone.
At the wedding, we wrote our own vows, the WHOLE CHURCH was crying!!! So I think it's safe to say that I was almost bawling....
all you heard when we were done were sniffles...

I did not cry at all! I got a little teary eyed during the hand ceremony but that was it. We read our own vows and I was calm.

I didn't cry. I had a moment when I thought I would cry but I couldn't because I was too busy thinking 'OMG I'm getting married...I'm getting married right now...these people are watching us get married...Eric and I are getting married..' It was on a constant loop in my mind up until we walked back down the aisle.

I was shocked, because I cry at everything - and everyone elses' vows, but I didn't cry at all....

I cried when I heard the Canon in D playing and my bridesmaids started walkinig down the aisle...I couldn't stop crying and I had tears streaming down my face as I walked down the aisle...I will never forget that feeling!

I got a little teary and we can hear it in my voice but I was able to hold it back. DH was a different story. He cried (he says teared) when I walked down the aisle and during our vows.

I am a big time crier, but didn't shed a tear during our ceremony. I was just so excited and happy that it kept me from being sappy, I think. I cried alot the day after the wedding.

I am a crier and I didn't cry the whole day--I was SO happy --only a little during my MOH speech! It really surprised me since I was a mess leading up to the wedding!!!

I dont think I will cry during our vows because they will be in Hebrew. Even though I know what they mean, it will be too much to try to interpret them as I repeat after the Rabbi. I WILL, however, cry when I walk down the aisle. That is a definite.

same here! I cry at commerials and didn't shed a single tear the entire day of my wedding.
when DH and I got to the hotel on our HM, I burst into tears and couldn't stop crying. the emotion of everything caught up with me bigtime. but they were VERY happy tears

I thought I was going to be a total mess but I was actually calm and could not stop smiling!!...I did have tears in my eyes but nothing crazy, it was perfect!!

I have the same answer as SpitsBride! I AM a crier, and I didn't cry. I was just so excited! DH cried....and he was cool as a cucumber that week and I was a mess. I had my big cry with my mom, the morning of the rehearsal dinner the day before. Some people at church actually commented on how amazing it was (knowing me!) that they saw me whisper to DH, 'It's okay, don't cry!' and I was also trying to steady his hands b/c they were shaking.

I have time before my wedding, but everytime I hear a wedding march, or see a wedding on tv, or hear certain songs that I want to dance to at my wedding.. the tears start to roooollllll... I hope I am not a blubbering mess on my wedding day!!

I'm a crier, but don't like crying in public. I cried several times that day including during the vows.
