POLL - For the mommies...

how many times do you check on the babies?

Say you were awake and the babies were sleeping. how many times do you do the 'breath test' or something similar?

I know my answer to this and I have 5 months before being a mommy...

ALL THE TIME. I check that my HUSBAND is breathing!! He woke up one night years ago with me over him with my hand on his chest. He opened his eyes and quietly said 'what are you doing'. I said 'I am checking you for SIDS', and went back to sleep...

I do it all the time. He sleeps so soundly sometimes so I just double check. I look for his chest or shoulders rising as he breathes or if he looks really still, I put my hand on him just to be sure.
